The Oregon Council is part of the national group, Trout Unlimited . OCTU meets two
times annually, and acts as a gathering point for fisheries interests common to all of
the Oregon Chapters of Trout Unlimited.  Chapters as well as OCTU officers have a
standing vote on issues that come before the council.  We work as an entity to
present a common front and to build consensus among chapters. We act to
represent all of the cold water fisheries of the state of Oregon, from coastal streams
with winter run Steelhead to the High Desert country of Eastern Oregon with
Lahontan cutthroat trout, for example.

If you are not already a member, we encourage you to join our organization to help us
in our fight to protect wild, native salmonids and the watersheds they reside in, in
Oregon, for our's and future generations.
