    Help support HB 2220
    This is the Invasive Species boater surcharge bill
    that provides funding for check stations to help
    prevent the influx of invasive species in our
    Oregon waters.  While there is a lot of activity
    around improving laws preventing invasive
    species, this is the only bill that provides a
    method to fund boater check stations and stop
    species like quagga mussels and New Zealand
    mud snails from invading our waters.  Click the

    Stay Tuned on HB 3298, the Metolius River Protection Act.  TU is supporting
    Governor Kulongoski on preserving the Metolius Basin as one of Oregon's special
    places.  While this bill passed the Senate but failed in the House, it is still eligible for
    reconsideration very soon.  Please contact your congressman to urge passage of

    Contact your congressman about supporting hatchery reform in Western
    Oregon.
    TU promotes responsible hatchery practices and this bill would require improvements
    and reduce impact on wild fish.  Click here to learn more.

    Kurt Schrader introduces wild and scenic protection for the Molalla River.  Call
    or email your congressman and urge their support for this important action on a real
